Prior to Geostrat, Christian was a Senior Reseach Fellow at the Finnish Institute of International Affairs and has published scholarly and policy-oriented articles, book chapters and reports in international security, geoeconomics, resilience and strategic risk. Christian is also an Expert Associate at the National Security College at the Australian National University and Fellow (non-resident) with the Institute of Strategic Risk Management (ISRM). Christian has a PhD in International Relations from the University of Sydney, MBA from Bond University, Master of Arts (International Relations) and Bachelor of International Studies from Flinders University, Australia.
